Atlanta Braves right-hander Tim Hudson has been taken to a hospital to be treated for a cramp near his neck.

Hudson earned the win in Atlanta's 7-4 victory over the Washington Nationals on Friday night. He gave up three runs in 5 2-3 innings to improve to 16-10.

During his final inning, the sixth, Hudson was visited on the mound by manager Fredi Gonzalez and a team trainer but stayed in the game to face four more batters.

Gonzalez said after the game that Hudson went to the hospital ''to get some fluids in him'' and called it ''nothing serious.'' The manager said Hudson ''has a history of'' cramping.
