Switzer strikes again: UNC star returns punt 78 yards for a touchdown (video)

He did it again.

North Carolina’s electric punt returner Ryan Switzer moved one spot away from tying the NCAA record for most punt returns for a touchdown when he broke off a 78-yarder against Miami on Saturday.

With less than a minute to go before halftime, Switzer fielded a Hurricanes punt and dashed 78 yards up the field to hand the No. 23 Tar Heels a 31-0 lead with :40 left in the second quarter.
