Alabama leads the series with Arkansas, 16-8 (19-7 before forfeited and vacated games). The most recent meeting occurred last season in Tuscaloosa on Oct. 10, 2015 when the Crimson Tide posted a 27-14 Homecoming win over the Razorbacks. The Tide has won nine straight games in the series by an average margin of 36.8-13.3 and have won four consecutive contests between the two teams in Fayetteville, where the Tide has outscored the Hogs 34.8-11.8 during that run.

The Razorbacks enter Saturday’s game with a 4-1 overall record, including an 0-1 mark in SEC play following a 52-10 win over Alcorn State at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock last Saturday. Arkansas opened the season with a 21-20 win over Louisiana Tech, rallying from a 20-14 fourth-quarter defi cit. The Hogs then traveled to Fort Worth and defeated No. 15 TCU, 4138, in double overtime. Arkansas returned home to defeat Texas State, 42-3, on Sept. 17 before suffering its fi rst loss of the season at the hands of No. 10 Texas A&M, 45-24, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 24. The Razorbacks are led by head coach Bret Bielema, who owns a 22-21 mark in his fourth season in Fayetteville and 90-45 career record between Arkansas and Wisconsin.
