Two Big East teams ranked in preseason AP poll

The Associated Press released its preseason poll for the 2015-16 season on Monday, with the North Carolina Tar Heels topping the top-25 rankings.

Villanova was ranked 11th, while Butler snuck in at No. 24. The Wildcats and the Bulldogs were the only two Big East schools to be ranked in the preseason poll. Three more teams -- Georgetown, Xavier and Providence -- received votes.
