Last Night in College Basketball: Arizona Bounces Back Against Shorthanded BYU

Impact Freeman, who started the Bluejays' previous game versus Villanova, did not appear in Wednesday's contest. It's likely this was a coach's decision rather than an injury, considering he's played a maximum of 12 minutes over the last 13 games and Creighton was locked into a close matchup with the No. 5 team in the country so they shortened their rotation a bit. He'll hope to return to the court Saturday in another difficult matchup at St. John's.

He set season highs in points (14) and rebounds (five) in his 31 minutes of action, crucial contributions which led the Bluejays to a shocking win on the road. Zugic needed just seven shots to score his 14 points, thanks in part to his six made free throws. This performance could earn him a spot in the starting five moving forward, or at the very least a larger role off the bench.

He'll look to keep that going Saturday versus Villanova.
