Damarius Owens - Sticking with Golden Eaglers Owens will return to Marquette for the 2026-27 season, Ben Steele of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Impact Owens saw his playing time jump from 9.4 minutes per game to 15.7 minutes per game this season, and he'll remain with Marquette for his third collegiate season. Owens averaged 4.8 points and 2.6 assists in 2025-26.

Impact Ross had an efficient performance Wednesday, scoring 16 points on 11 field goal attempts and dishing out six assists in the close loss to Xavier. This loss eliminated Ross and the Golden Eagles from the Big East Tournament and marked Ross' final collegiate outing. Ross spent all four seasons with Marquette, and this 2025-26 campaign was his best. He averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and a conference-best 2.3 steals per game this season, capping off a good career.

Royce Parham - Scores 22 in tournament loss Parham chipped in 22 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds and one assist in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 89-87 loss to Xavier.

Impact Parham had one of his best games of the season Wednesday, but he and the Golden Eagles fell just short of advancing in the Big East Tournament. His season comes to a close, and it was a productive campaign for the sophomore. He made 31 appearances (20 starts) and averaged 12.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.8 blocks across 29.0 minutes per game. The forward also shot 52.2 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from three, both major improvements on his freshman campaign.

Nigel James Jr. - Running it back with Marquette James has announced his intentions to return to Marquette for the 2026-27 season. Jeff Goodman of TheFieldof68.com reports.

Impact James stated that he quote "never thought about leaving in the first place", when asked about his plans for next season. The 6-foot freshman was a bright spot in an otherwise rough season for the Golden Eagles, averaging 16.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.9 steals across 31 games (28 starts). James will look to be a pivotal building block for Shaka Smart's squad heading into next season following Wednesday night's loss in the Big East Tournament.
