Joshua Clark scores 18 to lead Marquette over Mercyhurst 78-43 in season opener

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Joshua Clark scored 18 points off the bench to help lead Marquette over Mercyhurst 78-43 on Monday night to begin the season.

Clark added seven rebounds and three blocks for the Golden Eagles. Royce Parham totaled 16 points and seven rebounds. Sananda Fru pitched in with 12 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Jake Lemelman led the way for the Lakers with 16 points. Hunter Te Ratana added eight points and two steals.

Marquette took the lead 14 seconds into the game and never trailed.
