Joining Golden Eagles Fru has committed to Marquette, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Fru will join the Golden Eagles after playing for Louisville in the 2025-26 campaign. The 6-foot-11 German forward from Berlin averaged 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.4 blocks across 22.0 minutes with the Cardinals this past season. He should fill in a currently slim frontcourt for Marquette as they aim to turn things around this upcoming year.

The international prospect continues to excel for Louisville, essentially displacing incumbents Aly Khalifa and Kasean Pryor, which in turn gives the Cardinals plenty of depth at the center position.
