Impact Vaaks started his third consecutive game Monday, and he continued his excellent run of scoring. Across his first 15 games of the season, he was very consistent, hitting double figures in every contest but never going above 20 points. He's broken out over his last four contests though, scoring at least 20 points in each game and hitting a new career high in Monday's loss. He hit a season-high six three pointers and made all six of his shots from the charity stripe, nearly leading his team to a win. He had a chance to win the game with a last second three-point attempt in overtime, but it fell short. The freshman has clearly found his stride and appears to be turning into an elite scoring option for the Friars.
