2026 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament: Bracket, Final Scores

Finley Bizjack - Scores 17 versus Providence Bizjack ended with 17 points (5-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 loss to Providence.

Impact Bizjack scored 17 points and dished out five assists in Wednesday's first round of the Big East Tournament, but it was not enough to avoid elimination and more than likely end the Bulldogs season. It was a productive season for Bizjack as he averaged 17.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 33.9 minutes per game, finishing the season third in scoring in the Big East. His shooting fell off towards the end of the season though as he only hit 34.9 percent of his field goals and 25.8 percent of his three-pointers across the final seven games of the season. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

Michael Ajayi - Productive in tournament loss Ajayi had 21 points (7-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 91-81 loss to Providence.

Impact Ajayi recorded yet another double-double Wednesday, but it was not enough to avoid elimination from the Big East Tournament at the hands of Providence. This is likely the final game of the season for Butler, and it was an excellent campaign for Ajayi. He averaged 16.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks across 33.6 minutes per game this season, easily cementing himself as the team's most productive player and as one of the most productive players in the conference. Ajayi has had a good career with stops at Pierce College, Pepperdine, Gonzaga and then Butler, and he will now look to take his talents to the professional game.

His shooting struggles continued as well as he's hit just 11 of his 35 attempts from the field and two of his 12 attempts from beyond the arc over his last three appearances. He will look to get back on track Saturday at DePaul in the regular season finale.

He scored 26 points, his second most in a game this season, and made 11 of his 19 attempts from the field. It was also his ninth game this season with at least 13 rebounds, all of which came on the defensive end. Next up he heads to DePaul on Saturday in the regular season finale.
