Impact Staton-McCray recorded 11 points in Saturday's win, his fourth time in the last five games scoring in the double figures. He hit three triples for the first time since Dec. 30 and added one assist on the offensive end. The downside to his performance was a season-high four turnovers and he's now averaging 2.3 turnovers per game across his last six games.

Impact Simpkins scored a season-high 27 points off the bench, his second time scoring at least 20 points this season. He made a season-high five three-pointers on eight attempts and made nine of his 17 attempts from the field. He also tied a season high with three assists and added two steals and a block on the defensive end. After putting up his best performance of the season, he'll look to keep that momentum going Saturday versus Marquette.

Impact After scoring just three total points over his last two contests, Simpkins bounced back with 14 points in Tuesday's loss. He was not particularly efficient from the field, although he did hit two of his five attempts from beyond the arc. He added four rebounds and one assist in his season-high 32 minutes off the bench.

Impact Payne recorded his fourth double-double of the season Tuesday, three of which have come during Big east play. He recorded eight offensive rebounds, his second most in a game this season, and recorded 15 total rebounds for the third time this season. He also blocked a season-high four shots in the close loss. He's now averaging 7.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season but has proven to be very inconsistent game-to-game.
