Impact Simpkins started his second straight game Wednesday and put in another solid performance. He scored 12 points on eight shots and hit one triple in his third straight game. He also chipped in two assists, one rebound and two steals in a solid yet unremarkable performance. He played 35 minutes though, making it clear that he's a very important part of the Pirates' rotation.

He was efficient too, hitting 11 of 16 shots from the field and turning the ball over just once across 36 minutes on the court. Clark was excellent on the defensive end too as he tied a season high with five steals, upping his average to an impressive 2.2 per game this season. He'll look to keep this positive momentum going Sunday at Butler.
