Stephon Payne - Records double-double Tuesday Payne chipped in 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, four blocks and two steals over 28 minutes during Tuesday's 65-60 loss to St. John's.

Impact Payne recorded his fourth double-double of the season Tuesday, three of which have come during Big east play. He recorded eight offensive rebounds, his second most in a game this season, and recorded 15 total rebounds for the third time this season. He also blocked a season-high four shots in the close loss. He's now averaging 7.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game this season but has proven to be very inconsistent game-to-game.

Impact Williams scored a team-high 16 points Tuesday, giving his team a chance to knock off the red-hot Huskies. Despite his scoring total it was not his best performance as he only made six of his season-high 16 field goal attempts, including going 1-8 from beyond the arc. He also failed to record an assist for just the second time this season. Still, it was his first game scoring in double figures since Dec. 3 and doing that versus the No. 3 team in the country is no small feat.
