Tru Washington - Commits to Xavier Washington is transferring to Xavier, Rick Broering of 247sports.com reports.

Impact Washington is reuniting with coach Richard Pitino from their days at New Mexico. Washington spent this past season at Miami, where he averaged 11.9 points, four rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.8 steals in 27.4 minutes per contest. Primarily known for his defense, Washington was top five in the ACC in steals and was in the running for sixth man of the year. He should compete for a large role with the Musketeers right away.
