Gabriel Pozzato - Fully cleared for basketball Pozzato (knee) has been fully cleared for basketball-related activities, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Back in early-July, Rothstein announced that Pozzato's clearance was weeks away, and after just a little more than four of them, he is finally healthy. Just before the NCAA's 2025-26 season, he suffered a knee injury that ruled him out indefinitely, all the way up to the end of Xavier's latest campaign. Before then, Pozzato logged a season with Evansville, where he recorded 14.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 24 games and starts.

Gabriel Pozzato - Clearance still weeks away Pozzato (knee) is still weeks away from being fully cleared for basketball-related activities, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Last offseason, Pozzato tore one of his ACLs, which he understandably underwent surgery for less than a week before Xavier's 2025-26 season began. Unsurprisingly, he did not play then but opted to re-enroll at Xavier for the next campaign. Several weeks can be enough for Pozzato to recover before the 2026-27 season, which begins in November.

Tre Carroll - Struggles in loss to UConn Carroll accumulated 12 points (2-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 8-12 FT), five rebounds and one assist in 34 minutes during Thursday's 93-68 loss to UConn.
Impact Carroll struggled to get going in Thursday's loss as he hit just two of his 10 field goal attempts and missed all four of his three-point attempts. It's an unceremonious end to an otherwise excellent individual campaign. He started 32 games this season and averaged 17.8 points -- ranking second in the Big East -- 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 blocks across 31.6 minutes per game.
MARCH 13 • ROTOWIRE
Roddie Anderson III - Scores 15 in Thursday's loss Anderson supplied 15 points (5-6 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes during Thursday's 93-68 loss to UConn.
Impact Anderson provided a nice spark off the bench Thursday, scoring 15 points and hitting five of six field goal attempts in the loss. That loss not only eliminated the Musketeers from the Big East Tournament but also ends the season with a postseason invitation unlikely. Anderson appeared in 33 games this season (five starts) and averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals in 23.8 minutes per game.
