Impact Scruggs had his best performance of the season so far in the win Sunday. The guard went a strong 100 percent at the line and added a solid floor game as well. Scruggs did not do well from the arc, but he is not known for his 3-point shooting. If Scruggs can continue this sort of production all season, it will really make way for others to produce with less riding on their shoulders.

Impact Kunkel is one of four players who will be available for the Musketeers after that wasn't the case previously. Kunkel could make his debut for the team Sunday, though it's unclear exactly how large of a role he will have out of the gates. He averaged 16.5 points, 2.8 boards and 2.6 assists per contest for Belmont last year.

Impact Freemantle came up big once again to help Xavier just get by Eastern Kentucky in the win Monday. The forward had another monster night in points and at the board leading the team in both. To end the night he went 91.7% FG for his season high so far. Freemantle is a very important piece to the success for Xavier and will continue to see the ball, especially when it matters most.
