Scores 12 points off bench Miles (knee) put up 12 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three assists, two blocks, and one rebound in a rout of Oakland on Wednesday.
Impact Miles had his freshman campaign halted by knee surgery, but the 6-10 forward was impressive in the 2020-21 season opener off the bench. Xavier absolutely blew the doors off Oakland, so it's not clear if Miles will get 18 minutes every game. Nevertheless, he still figures to stay a part of the rotation in some way.

Impact Tandy seemed a likely candidate to take over the starting role at point guard following Quentin Goodin's graduation but has apparently been beaten out by senior Paul Scruggs. Even so, Tandy should still see ample minutes off the bench and figures to be next in line for the starting point guard job.

Impact Stanley apparently moved from Hampton to Xavier in part due to the fact that they had in-person classes and it would help him receive extra help for a learning disability. Considering that and the current climate, it is quite shocking that the NCAA would deny Xavier's request. Nevertheless, Stanley won't be able to suit up in a game until the 2021-22 season.
