NC A&T comes back to beat NC Central 67-63 in OT

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) Ede Egharevba scored five of his 16 points in overtime to give North Carolina A&T a 67-63 come-from-behind win over North Carolina Central on Saturday.

North Carolina Central led throughout most of the second half until Egharevba's layup started a 9-0 run to give the Aggies a 57-55 lead with 4:44 remaining.

Ahmad Abdullah, who had 21 points, nailed a 3-point jumper to give North Carolina A&T a 61-58 lead with 1:46 left. Rashaun Madison answered with a trey to tie and send the game into overtime.

Egharevba nailed a 3-pointer and drove for a layup and Abdullah made a layup in the extra period. NCCU failed to score until Jeremiah Ingram made a layup to trail 64-63 with 1:44 left.

Sam Hunt added 10 points and Denzel Keyes had seven and 10 rebounds for the Aggies (7-18, 4-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic).

Donte Holmes led NCCU (8-15, 3-6) with 22 points.
