Derek Forbort - Not ready to return Forbort (illness) will miss Wednesday's game against Utah.
Impact Forbort might be able to return Thursday versus Vegas, according to coach Rick Tocchet. The 32-year-old defenseman has one assist, one hit and six blocks in five appearances in 2024-25. When Forbort eventually draws into the lineup, it will likely be as part of the third pairing.

Kevin Lankinen - Available, but won't start vs. Utah Lankinen (illness) is no longer dealing with flu symptoms but won't start in Wednesday's road game against Utah.
Impact Coach Rick Tocchet said Lankinen could have played Wednesday if needed, but the bench boss decided to start Thatcher Demko instead. Lankinen is projected to serve as the backup goaltender instead, and he'll likely play between the pipes in Vegas on Thursday. The 29-year-old Lankinen has a 14-4-3 record, 2.52 GAA and .912 save percentage in 21 appearances in 2024-25.

Pius Suter - Slides helper Suter notched an assist in Monday's 3-1 win over the Avalanche.
Impact Suter helped out on the first of Kiefer Sherwood's three goals in the game. The 28-year-old Suter snapped his three-game slump, but offense may be harder to come by moving forward. He's lost his top-six spot since J.T. Miller returned from a personal leave, with Suter now centering the third line rather than playing on the wing. He's been good this year with 18 points, 53 shots on net and a plus-6 rating over 29 appearances, and the Canucks have a fairly deep offense, so don't rush to drop Suter -- just have a backup plan ready if he enters a slump.

Phillip Di Giuseppe - Brought up from minors Di Giuseppe was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday.
Impact Di Giuseppe and Linus Karlsson were summoned from the minors ahead of Vancouver's road back-to-back versus Utah and Vegas on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. Mark Friedman and Artus Silovs shifted to the AHL in corresponding moves. Di Giuseppe hasn't earned a point in four minor-league appearances this campaign.

Impact Sherwood found twine once in each period -- each time via wristers in the latter stages of each frame, including a shorthanded goal in the second and an empty-netter in the third. Sherwood is up to 11 goals on the season, but he's certainly on a strong run of late since he's netted five of those goals across his last six outings.

Impact Demko made his third start of the season Monday and certainly left a good impression, earning his first win of the campaign and ending just 46 seconds away from recording a shutout. The 29-year-old is still shaking off the rust that comes with rehabbing from a knee injury sustained last season, but this was an outing that points in the right direction for the eight-year veteran. Through three appearances, Demko has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .881 save percentage, so there's still margin for improvement.

Linus Karlsson - Summoned from AHL Karlsson was summoned from AHL Abbotsford on Tuesday.
Impact Karlsson has five goals and one assist in seven minor-league outings this season. Vancouver also recalled Phil Di Giuseppe on Tuesday while sending down Mark Friedman and Arturs Silovs. The Canucks play a road back-to-back against Utah and Vegas on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, and added two forwards to the mix as options to play.

Impact Hughes set up Kiefer Sherwood's hat-trick goal, an empty-netter with 2:35 left in the third period, to record his 28th assist of the campaign. One of the most productive blueliners in the league and an outstanding playmaker, Hughes looks well on pace to record 60 assists for the fourth season in a row, and he's probably one or two hot streaks away from potentially surpassing the career-high 75 assists he delivered in 2023-24.
