Commanders vs. Steelers Injury Report – Week 10, 2024

Dealing with groin issue Fowler (groin) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Impact The first-year Commander appears to have picked up a groin injury in the team's Week 9 win over the Giants, despite playing 31 defensive snaps and recording six total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, while also forcing a fumble. Fowler's participation in practice Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can play through the pain in Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.

Misses Wednesday's practice Seibert (hip) didn't practice Wednesday.

Impact Seibert made both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts in Week 9's win over the Giants, but it now appears he picked up a hip injury in the process. Look for the Commanders to add another kicker to their practice squad or active roster if Seibert misses additional practices later this week.

Impact A limited participant all last week, Robinson was listed as questionable on the final injury report and ended up inactive for a 28-23 win over the Giants on Sunday. His absence freed up a larger role for Austin Ekeler, but the Commanders also gave Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez a lot of work, especially late in the game while trying to run out the clock with a lead.

Impact Lattimore sat out in Week 9 due to the hamstring issue he's tending to, and now it's threatening his potential availability for Week 10. He'll probably have to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday to have a chance to suit up Sunday.

Slated to practice Wednesday Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that Robinson (hamstring) will practice Wednesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Impact The extent of Robinson's participation won't be known until Washington releases its first Week 10 injury report later Wednesday, but Quinn said that the staff is "really going to push it" with the running back in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Despite being listed as questionable coming out of the Commanders' final Week 9 practice last Friday, Robinson had been expected to play against the Giants, but he was a surprise inactive ahead of the team's eventual 27-22 win. Assuming Robinson navigates the upcoming week of practice without any setbacks with his hamstring, he should be ready to step back in as the Commanders' lead runner, while Austin Ekeler returns to a change-of-pace role.

Impact One of the NFL's most surprising teams this season with a 7-2 record through nine weeks, the Commanders will bolster their roster ahead of a potential playoff push with the addition of Lattimore, a four-time Pro Bowler. Before missing the Saints' Week 9 loss to the Panthers due to a hamstring injury, Lattimore had suited up in six of the Saints' first seven contests, recording 30 tackles and two pass breakups. The 28-year-old Lattimore will be under contract with the Commanders through 2026 after signing a five-year, $97.6 million extension in September 2021.
