Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed has been cleared to play Sunday night against the New York Giants, a source told FOXSports.com.

Reed, who missed last week’s game against the 49ers because of concussion-like symptoms, had limited participation in practice all week and was expected to play. The Redskins still have him listed as questionable.

The rookie tight end was informed to notify the team if any headaches arise in the next 24 hours.

Reed has been quarterback Robert Griffin III’s second favorite target, racking up 45 receptions for 499 yards and three touchdowns.
