Bills TE Charles Clay ruled out with back injury

Through 12 games, the Buffalo Bills' top pass catcher surprisingly isn't Sammy Watkins -- or any other wide receiver for that matter. It's Charles Clay, who leads the team with 50 receptions.

He's been a valuable player to the offense, but he suffered a back injury early in Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Clay left the game in the first half and had his back checked out on the trainer's table. After halftime, Clay was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

It's unclear exactly how Clay injured his back, but it's not a good sign for the Bills that he wasn't able to return. He's been an underrated and consistent player in his first year with the Bills.
