Impact The two TDs and the rushing yards made this a palatable performance from a fantasy perspective, but it was a rough outing for the second straight primetime week for Allen and the Bills, who fall to 4-2. The third-year quarterback has put up his two worst performances of the season in these two games after being a fantasy darling for Weeks 1-4. While Allen still has enough flaws in his game that there will be occasional tough sledding in matchups against championship-level teams like the Chiefs and Titans, he's also improved his game by miles since his rookie season and remains a top-10 fantasy QB. Things get much easier Week 7 with Allen and the Bills traveling to face the Jets.

Impact The fantasy stats aren't terrible, but this just wasn't the Bills' night in an ugly 42-16 loss -- the team's first of the season -- with Allen misfiring several times and getting a bad bounce on one of the two picks. His 77.6 rating is by far his worst of the season and he tripled his 2020 interception total on one night. On the bright side, Allen has thrown for two-plus touchdowns all five games this season and now has 14 TD passes on the campaign. He and the Bills will get a chance to bounce back in another primetime game Monday against the Chiefs.

Impact Things are not in the clear yet, however, as both teams still have to go through more testing with no setbacks. In a strange state of the times, if you've rolled the dice on Allen thus far you've essentially made a bold bet that the game would go on as planned -- or taking it even further, that the last few rounds of COVID-19 testing would come back clean, with your last bailout being a late pivot to Drew Brees or Justin Herbert. On the bright side, Tuesday's Bills-Titans now seems like a decent possibility at this stage given the most recent testing results.

Impact That said, the status of the slated 7:00 ET kickoff should still be monitored by fantasy managers, with Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com noting that "another positive (COVID-19 test Monday) would likely throw things into limbo." In addition to having their Week 5 game moved to Tuesday, the Bills' Week 6 tilt against the Chiefs has been moved from this coming Thursday to Monday, Oct. 19.

It's also worth noting that Buffalo's Week 5 opponent -- the Titans -- still has to work through a COVID-19 outbreak before the game can go off as scheduled in the early wave Sunday.

He completed touchdown passes to Gabriel Davis and Cole Beasley in the first half while adding a one-yard touchdown plunge of his own in the fourth quarter. Allen has been nothing short of excellent through four games, totaling 15 touchdowns compared to one interception. He'll look to continue his hot start in another favorable matchup next Sunday against the Titans.

Impact Allen ended up having to do plenty in a game that the Bills were fairly solid favorites in, averaging 11.9 yards per attempt while connecting with eight different pass catchers on the afternoon. The third-year signal caller hit the eclectic quartet of Stefon Diggs, John Brown, Gabriel Davis and Reggie Gilliam for his scoring throws, the final one a 46-yarder to Brown to give Buffalo critical separation with 3:09 remaining. Perhaps almost as encouraging for the Bills' coaching staff was Allen's mistake-free effort, which helped bring about an outstanding 147.0 rating for the afternoon. Allen also averaged a whopping 11.9 yards per attempt, partly the byproduct of his burgeoning connection with prize offseason arrival Stefon Diggs, whom he targeted a team-high 13 times on the way to an 8-153-1 day for the wideout. Allen will look to build on this landmark effort when the Bills battle the Los Angeles Rams in a Week 3 home matchup.

He bounced back beautifully after fumbling on the Bills' first drive, leading his team into the end zone on each of the next three possessions thanks to a two-yard rushing score followed by a four-yard touchdown pass to Zack Moss and a 15-yard toss to John Brown. Allen was on his way to a fourth consecutive scoring drive but lost his second fumble with less than two minutes left before halftime. While he still struggles with turnovers, that flaw is overshadowed by Allen's tremendous rushing production from the quarterback position, and he appears to be taking the next step as a passer heading into a Week 2 meeting with the Dolphins.
