Brenton Strange - Uneventful rookie campaign Strange wasn't targeted against the Titans in Week 18 and finished the season with five catches for 35 yards and a touchdown in 14 games.

Impact The rookie second-round pick's first year in the NFL wasn't a particularly notable one, as he worked as Jacksonville's No. 3 tight end all season. Both Evan Engram and Luke Farrell remain under contract in 2024, so Strange may need a strong offseason and training camp in order to move up the depth chart.

Luke Farrell - Finishes season with 13 catches Farrell closed the season with 13 catches on 15 targets for 155 yards in 17 games.

Impact Farrell once again primarily served as a blocking tight end for the Jaguars in 2023, though he did set career highs in both receptions and receiving yards. The 26-year-old should fill a similar role in 2024, which is the final year of his rookie contract.

Brandon McManus - Perfect in season finale McManus made both field-goal attempts and both PATs against the Titans in Week 18. He played in all 17 games and went 30-for-37 on field goals and 35-for-35 on PATs.

Impact The 32-year-old tied a career high with 125 points, and it was the first time since 2018 he didn't miss an extra point. Five of McManus' misses came from beyond 50 yards, with the other two being from 40-to-49 yards, so he should be able to secure a contract for 2024 somewhere after kicking for the Jags on a one-year deal.

Parker Washington - Quiet close to season Washington caught his lone target for 11 yards Week 18 against the Titans and finished the season with 16 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns in nine games.

Impact Washington saw action in just one of Jacksonville's first nine games but was more involved during the second half of the campaign. The rookie sixth-round pick caught six passes for 61 yards and a touchdown against Cincinnati in Week 12 but otherwise wasn't noticeably involved in the passing game. Jacksonville's receiving corps could look different in 2024 with Calvin Ridley set to become a free agent, though Christian Kirk (groin) and Zay Jones remain under contract.

C.J. Beathard - Solid season as backup Beathard appeared in seven games this season and completed 40 of 53 passes for 349 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried eight times for 35 yards.

Impact The 30-year-old primarily worked in mop-up duty but saw significant action in Weeks 16 and 17 with Trevor Lawrence injured. Beathard played well in those contests, completing 28 of 39 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown, helping Jacksonville to a victory in his lone start. He's under contract for 2024 and seems likely to work as Lawrence's top backup once more.

Christian Kirk - Finishes with 787 yards in 12 games Kirk (groin) finished the 2023 season with 57 catches on 85 targets for 787 yards and three touchdowns in 12 appearances. He also rushed once for six yards.

Impact Kirk took a step back after setting career highs in catches (84), receiving yards (1,108) and touchdowns (eight) in his first season with the Jaguars, though he had similar per-game numbers besides the decline in the notoriously fickle touchdown category. He missed the final five games of the season as the Jaguars collapsed down the stretch and missed the playoffs at 9-8, but Kirk is expected to be healthy by the start of the 2024 campaign and should reprise a starting role on the outside opposite Calvin Ridley.
