Terrell Bynum - Signs future deal with Indy The Colts signed Bynum to a reserve/future contract Wednesday.

Impact Bynum played one offensive snap for the Chargers during the 2023 season, failing to register a statistic. He closed out the season on Los Angeles' practice squad and will look for a new opportunity in Indianapolis.

Samson Ebukam - Quiet to end good season Ebukam recorded three tackles (one solo) in Saturday's 23-19 loss versus the Texans.

Impact Over 17 games this year, Ebukam recorded 57 tackles (39 solo) including 9.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. Although he couldn't quite reach the double-digit threshold, his sack total in 2023 was a career-high. He currently figures to start on the edge again for the Colts come Week 1 of the 2024 season.

Kenny Moore II - Season-low tackle total Saturday Moore recorded two tackles (two solo) in Saturday's 23-19 loss versus the Texans.

Impact Over 16 games this season, Moore recorded 93 tackles (68 solo) including 1.5 sacks, adding six interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns. He couldn't quite manage his second career 100-tackle year, but he'll look back fondly on a Week 9 game at Carolina in which he got two pick-sixes. He enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

D.J. Montgomery - No targets in season finale Montgomery recorded three receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown on eight targets over seven games in 2023.

Impact All of Montgomery's production this season actually came over the course of just two games in Weeks 15 and 16 versus the Steelers and at Atlanta respectively. It was the first year of his NFL career in which he played more than 100 offensive snaps. He'll now compete for a spot on the Colts' 53-man roster for 2024.

Tyler Goodson - Disappointing end to season Goodson did not handle a carry in Saturday's loss versus the Texans, and he failed to bring in either of his two targets.

Impact The last meaningful play of a must-win game for Indianapolis was a dropped pass by Goodson that would have extended a potential game-winning drive with just over a minute to play. It's a difficult pill to swallow for Goodson, who had an otherwise promising season in 2023 relative to his rookie year in 2022. He has enough speed to get a second look during the offseason.

Zack Moss - Healthy finish to solid season Moss (forearm) carried the ball six times for 30 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Saturday's 23-19 loss to the Texans.

Impact Jonathan Taylor (ankle) literally carried the offense with a 30/188/1 rushing line Saturday, but his brief exit near the end of the third quarter allowed Moss to earn a few extra carries as the Colts' primary backup. The latter was returning from a two-game layoff from an injury of his own, so it was a positive sign to see him produce in a limited role to end the season. Moss was an early-season stud in fantasy while filling in for Taylor -- who was holding out over a contract dispute -- producing 445 out of the backup's 764 rushing yards this year over his first four games. Moss should be a desirable free agent this upcoming offseason after averaging 4.3 yards per carry and producing 986 combined yards and seven touchdowns in a hybrid backup/starting role with the Colts.

Gardner Minshew - Quiet line in defeat Minshew completed 13 of 24 pass attempts for 141 yards and added one carry for nine yards in Saturday's 23-19 loss to the Texans.

Impact It was the third start this season in which Minshew did not score a touchdown, resulting in a mediocre fantasy performance to close out the regular season. The Colts' charismatic quarterback did a good job of protecting the football Saturday, which afforded Jonathan Taylor (ankle) the opportunity to post a monstrous rushing line (30/188/1) despite the losing effort. Minshew accrued 3,305 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and 14 turnovers while appearing in 17 games (13 starts) replacing injured rookie starter Anthony Richardson (shoulder). The latter underwent successful shoulder surgery and is lined up to start for the Colts in 2024, leaving Minshew -- an unrestricted free agent -- a likely target for teams in need of a veteran signal-caller this upcoming offseason.
