If you want a Kristaps Porzingis New York Knicks jersey, you were in for some tough luck earlier this week. Your chances of landing one of those at the moment were about as good as seeing the Knicks in the Finals come June.
The rookie and last June’s fourth-overall pick in the NBA Draft has taken New York by storm, averaging 12.8 points and 8.6 rebounds per game and dropping 29 points and 11 rebounds on the Hornets on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. The 20-year-old has been about as good as anyone could’ve asked, and Knicks fans are responding well.
