Impact Nett missed the first month of the season while recovering from a rotator cuff injury, but he looked sharp while piggybacking starter Mason Barnett in his 2026 debut. Once he gets fully stretched out, Nett should settle into a spot in the Las Vegas rotation, and he may not have to wait long before receiving his first call-up to the majors. Nett was added to the Athletics' 40-man roster over the winter after submitting a 3.75 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 116:48 K:BB in 105.2 innings at the Double-A level in 2025.

Perkins stepped in while the club hung onto a 2-1 lead in the eighth, recording his second two-inning save of 2026. The right-hander is emerging as a bit of a multi-inning weapon for the A's, boasting a 3.18 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB over 11.1 frames.

J.T. Ginn - Injury-shortened start Sunday Ginn left Sunday's start against the Rangers in the fourth inning with right shoulder soreness, Dave Sessions of MLB.com reports.

Impact Ginn cruised through three scoreless frames before hitting Evan Carter with a pitch with one out in the bottom of the fourth. The right-handed pitcher then appeared to be favoring his right side after delivering a 94.1 mph sinker to Jake Burger at the plate, and he was ultimately forced to exit the contest as a result. Manager Mark Kotsay explained following the team's 2-1 victory that Ginn was dealing with "some form of a stinger in the shoulder area" and that the team wasn't going to "risk anything further." The team is expected to reevaluate Ginn's health Monday.
