Impact Jimenez made his rehab debut as expected and pounded 12 of his 16 pitches in for strikes during his dominant frame. The right-hander is slated to make another relief appearance with the Aviators on Sunday, and the the Associated Press reports manager Mark Kotsay will then meet with Jimenez to determine next steps.

Impact The veteran shortstop produced his second three-hit tally of the past four games and hit safely for the 10th time in the last 11 contests overall. Andrus boasts a .350/.395/.475 slash line over the latter span, and his current .240 season average qualifies as his highest figure since June 11.

James Kaprielian - Earns second win Kaprielian (2-5) gave up one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings to earn the win in a 7-3 victory over the White Sox on Friday.
Impact Kaprielian took advantage of the reeling White Sox, spinning six innings of one-run ball to give his team the upset victory over Lance Lynn on the road. The 28-year-old right-hander leaned primarily on his 94 mph fastball and 86 mph slider to keep hitters off balance and cruise to his second win in 16 starts. Kaprielian now has a pedestrian 4.50 ERA and 1.29 WHIP through 80 IP in 2022. He tentatively lines up for another favorable matchup against the depleted Angels lineup on Thursday.

Impact Brown took Lance Lynn for a ride in the sixth and then went deep again off White Sox reliever Davis Martin for his first two homer game of 2022. It was the 30-year-old first baseman's first game back after being reinstated from the paternity list for the birth of his son. Brown now has four home runs since July 21 and 14 total on the season.
