It was the first time since July 23 that Kaprielian didn't allow a run and he now holds a 1.38 ERA and 0.92 WHIP in two September starts. He'll look to carry that momentum into his next start, which should come against the Angels next week.

It is fitting that he is currently a member of the A's, as that's where he played for roughly half his career, including his peak seasons (2014 and 2015).
