Impact Martinez made four appearances during his time in the majors, allowing seven runs in 3.1 innings while walking more batters (five) than he struck out (four). He'll exit the roster to create space for Brandon Pfaadt, who was recalled to start against the Reds.

Gabriel Moreno - Scratched with shoulder discomfort Moreno was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's game against Cincinnati due to left shoulder discomfort, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Impact Moreno has been dealing with the issue over the last few weeks and has seen his playing time dip as a result. It's unclear if his scratch Saturday means the issue has reached a point that he'll need a trip to the injured list. Carson Kelly will start Saturday and would see his playing time increase if Moreno does in fact need a stint on the sidelines.

Impact Thomas has hit well since returning to the big leagues in mid-June, slashing .293/.301/.524 with four homers in 25 games. Part of his success may stem from the fact that the Diamondbacks have shielded him from facing lefties, starting him against just one of the five the team has faced in the last month. Corbin Carroll will shift to center field Saturday, with Lourdes Gurriel Jr. taking Carroll's usual spot in left.

Impact Gallen was perfect through five innings before surrendering a solo home run to Orlando Arcia in the bottom of the sixth. The right-hander was again victimized by the long ball in the seventh, this time coming off the bat of Matt Olsen for a two-run shot as Atlanta fought its way back.
