Impact Howell opened the tournament strongly with a bogey-free, eight-under 63 to end the day tied with Crushers GC teammate and captain Bryson DeChambeau at the top of the leaderboard. Howell was unable to keep up with DeChambeau, with the former carding scores of 68-66-67 over the final three rounds in South Africa. Howell ranked fifth in putts per hole, driving accuracy and scrambling and in the top-20 in GIR. It was his first top-10 finish of the 2026 LIV Golf season and his best outing since Korea in 2025, when he finished as the runner-up to DeChambeau. Howell will tee off at LIV Golf Mexico that starts April 16.
