Kyle Lemmermann - Available for Week 8 Lemmermann (undisclosed) will suit up for Saturday's game versus West Virginia, per the Big 12 availability report.
Impact Lemmermann is arguably in the country's fiercest kicking competition, considering he and Nate McCashland have been stellar options and with neither having a clear edge in that regard. For 2026, the former has made both his field goal attempt and extra point attempt.

Jeremy Payne - Status downgraded to out for Week 8 Payne (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game versus West Virginia, per the Big 12 availability report.
Impact Considering that Payne was once doubtful before Week 8, his subsequent ruling should come as no surprise. Impact Ashley has been a regular target for TCU's starting quarterback Jaden Craig, so barring setbacks, he should get the chance to log some receptions in Week 8. For 2026, his season-low in catches is three from the Horned Frogs' regular-season opener. Since then, he has logged 29 receptions (on 37 targets) for 392 yards and four touchdowns. With that production, unsurprisingly, Ashley has been among college football's best tight ends.
