Impact Just one week after rushing a staggering 278 yards, Hunter was held in check by the much-improved Vanderbilt Commodores. Hunter needs just 87 yards for 1,000 in the ground in 2024, though, and he has a great chance to hit that mark in two weeks against ULM.

Impact On paper, the numbers were not bad for Thorne, but the Auburn offense managed just seven points for the entire game, and the Tigers have scored over 25 points just once in 2024. Auburn has a bye before a cupcake matchup with ULM, though, so Thorne has the chance to right the ship, at least for one game.
