Behren Morton - Received X-rays on shoulder Morton (shoulder) received an X-ray for the injury to his non-throwing shoulder, with the tests being inconclusive, per Don Williams of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Impact Head coach Joey McGuire indicated that while they don't believe it to be a major injury, there is definitely something there. Morton suffered the injury to his left shoulder during Saturday's game against TCU, exiting the game just before halftime. The junior quarterback has been an impact player for the red Raiders this season, throwing for 2,063 yards and 17 touchdowns to just three interceptions though eight games. His status will be worth monitoring moving forward, with a trip to Iowa State this coming Saturday serving as his next opportunity to return.

Cam Cook - Logs single carry against TTU Cook tallied one carry for 19 yards during Saturday's 35-34 win over Texas Tech.
Impact Cook saw a single carry for the first time this season. There's some competition between Cook, Trent Battle, and Jeremy Payne for primary usage at the running back position. It's further complicated by receiver Savion Williams who has seen significant snaps in the wildcat formation over the last two weeks. Expect a committee approach with a healthy dose of Williams when the team plays Baylor next week.

DJ Rogers - Nabs first TD in 2024 season Rogers compiled three receptions (on four targets) for 15 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 victory over Texas Tech.
Impact Rogers was able to record his first touchdown of the 2024 season. Entering the game, the junior had just two catches for 17 yards. TCU will play Baylor next week.

Jack Bech - 77 yards in comeback win Bech recorded four receptions (on eight targets) for 77 yards during Saturday's 35-34 win against Texas Tech.
Impact Bech logged at least eight targets for the sixth time in eight tries this season. He's arguably the team's best receiver and was a big reason TCU overcame a 17-point deficit to beat the Red Raiders. While he hasn't had the monster performances, he experienced from Week 3 through Week 5, he's not far off and is still receiving significant target volume. He should remain in starting line-ups when TCU takes on Baylor in a game that should feature a ton of offense.

Savion Williams - Two scores in dual-threat role Williams gathered in 3 of 4 targets for 81 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 win over Texas Tech. He also logged 11 rushes for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Impact Williams is taking on a new dual-threat role with the Horned Frogs which includes significant snaps in a wildcat formation. The prep star quarterback has shown off the skills to excel in that formation and now has 18 rushes for 144 yards and a touchdown over his last two games. With TCU struggling to find an effective run-game out of the backfield, they may choose to go this route moving forward. It's excellent timing for fantasy as TCU plays Baylor in a game that should feature a lot of scoring next week.

Eric McAlister - Nabs go-ahead TD in comeback McAlister caught 1 of 2 targets for 84 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-34 victory over Texas Tech.
Impact McAlister's lone catch was a huge one as it ended up being the go-ahead touchdown as TCU came back from a 17-point deficit. It was McAlister's fourth touchdown of the season. TCU will play Baylor next week in a game that should feature a ton of points.
