Mike Mitchell - Limited against TCU Mitchell (undisclosed) saw limited snaps during Saturday's 13-7 loss to TCU, failing to record a counting stat.
Impact Mitchell returned to action for the first time since Utah's Week 5 matchup against Arizona, and though he recorded just three total snaps and was held without a counting stat on the day, it's encouraging to see his return to the field. The redshirt freshman running back was starting to get more opportunities through the first few games for the Utes this season prior to his injury, recording 37 carries for 127 yards and a touchdown through the team's first five games. Mitchell will hope to continue his recovery and work his way back into the offense in time for next week's matchup against Houston.

Impact Singer has managed at least seven targets in each of his last five games. The production has not necessarily followed as he has just one 100-yard receiving performance (Week 5 vs. Arizona) and no touchdowns. The 7.7 targets averaged per game suggests that the scoring is on the horizon. It could occur as quickly as this next week at Houston as Utah should have an easier time moving the ball versus that team defense.
