Ashtyn Hawkins - Logs first TD with new team Hawkins caught all two targets for 37 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-3 win over Tarleton State.

Impact Hawkins was a blue-chip receiver for Texas State and a very exciting prospect for the Bears this season. He made the most of his two catches in the opener, but saw less time as the game got out of hand. The senior has excellent upside and should be among the best wideouts available in the Big 12 this season.

Ketron Jackson Jr. - Finds paydirt in blowout Jackson Jr. gathered in 2 of 5 targets for 69 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-3 victory against Tarleton State.

Impact Jackson will once again be in the mix for targets for the Bears, although the available wideouts will have a different style of quarterback with dual-threat Dequan Finn. He finished the day with the best receiving totals in Week 1, but talented wideouts like Ashtyn Hawkins and Monaray Baldwin are also likely to break through with the best numbers in more competitive games.

Michael Trigg - Scores TD in blowout Trigg gathered in all two targets for 33 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-3 win over Tarleton State.

Impact Trigg was one of many players arriving in Waco through the transfer portal. Baylor is Trigg's third school, and he stall has two years of eligibility remaining. He only had 31 total receptions over his tenures with Mississippi and USC, but he seems to have finally found a program where he can start regularly. It's unclear how prevalent the tight end will be in Baylor's new system, but Trigg's result was an encouraging sign.

Dawson Pendergrass - Finds paydirt in victory Pendergrass tallied 17 carries for 62 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all two targets for nine yards during Saturday's 45-3 win versus Tarleton State.

Impact Pendergrass had a solid rookie campaign for the Bears, displaying skill as a runner and receiver out of the backfield. He will likely share primary duties with Richard Reese. First-stringer Dominic Richardson did not take the field Saturday, and there's no news about his status currently.

Sawyer Robertson - Sees limited snaps as backup Robertson was 3-for-5 passing for 67 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-3 victory against Tarleton State.

Impact Dequan Finn won the job over Robertson in camp, but he managed to see some snaps in the blowout win. Unless Finn suffers an injury, Robertson will have minimal impact this season.

Richard Reese - Dominates against weak foe Reese notched 18 carries for 78 yards and gathered in all two targets for seven yards during Saturday's 45-3 victory against Tarleton State.

Impact Baylor kept the first-stringers on the field for the entire game, which allowed Reese to deliver a solid total. The Bears' running game may be adversely affected by the running skills of QG Dequan Finn, but Reese and Dawson Pendergrass will still have value in what could be a much-improved offense this season.
