Redshirt junior linebacker Salamo Fiso has been remarkable for Arizona State this season; now his team has named him team captain.

Through six games, Fiso has 45 solo tackles. That mark is the best in the Pac-12 and, further, the best in the nation. Additionally, Fiso has 10.5 tackles for a loss, which is also the most in the Pac-12. Fiso has 1.8 tackles for loss per game, which is the best in the NCAA.

He recorded 10 total tackles vs. both Cal Poly and New Mexico earlier this season. ASU plays Utah at 7PM on Saturday.
