Impact After registering 15 catches in the first two games of the season for South Carolina, Wells has cooled off considerably, amassing just 65 yards over the subsequent three contests. That being said, the last three contests have been blowouts one way or the other for the Gamecocks, so it will be interesting to see what happens for Wells if SC can keep next weekend's clash at Kentucky within reach.

Christian Beal-Smith - Finds end zone in blowout Beal-Smith rushed six times for 15 yards and a touchdown Thursday against South Carolina State.
Impact The Wake Forest transfer does have three touchdowns in his last two games, but is averaging a putrid 3.8 yards per carry on the season and remains firmly behind MarShawn Lloyd on the depth chart. Beal-Smith also battled a foot injury at the beginning of camp, which initially limited his playing time and production. It will be interesting to see how much run Beal-Smith gets in a difficult SEC clash at Kentucky next weekend.

Austin Stogner - Receiving touchdown in win Stogner reeled in a 15-yard touchdown reception in Thursday's 50-10 win over South Carolina State.
Impact The Oklahoma transfer actually has more receptions on the season than starter Jaheim Bell, though this was Stogner's first touchdown of the season, and Bell is still averaging more yards per catch. Stogner also has two or fewer catches in four of the five games this season for the Gamecocks, making him an extremely risky option at Kentucky next weekend.

Jaheim Bell - Rushing touchdown in laugher Bell caught two passes for 48 yards against South Carolina State on Thursday, while also rushing twice for four yards and a touchdown in the 50-10 triumph over the Bulldogs.
Impact Following a solid sophomore campaign, Bell has taken a step back thus far in 2022, snagging just nine passes for 1121 yards through five contests. On the plus side, he does have two rushing touchdowns to his credit, and the 48 yards last game represented a season high. Bell may have a tough time finding space at Kentucky next weekend, though.
