Antwan Raymond - Stellar showing in narrow win Raymond recorded 29 carries for 116 yards and one touchdown and caught all two targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 27-24 win versus Purdue.

Impact Raymond crossed the century mark for the second time this season. He also logged his 10th rushing touchdown putting him in a tie for third among Big 10 running backs. Raymond would be a more visible name on a better team, but he's only a sophomore and may find many suitors looking for his services through the portal.

Athan Kaliakmanis - Logs massive game in narrow win Kaliakmanis was 19-for-27 passing for 359 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 victory against Purdue. He also had 11 rushes for -10 yards with one touchdown.

Impact After being neutralized against Oregon last week, Kaliakmanis bounced back to his usual prolific numbers against Purdue. The Scarlet Knights posted a deserving W after falling short of a win several times this season, and Kaliakmanis' superb total was key to the victory.

Devin Mockobee - Logs 109 yards of total offense Mockobee compiled 16 rushes for 91 yards and reeled in all two targets for 18 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 defeat to Rutgers.

Impact After a mediocre showing in the previous game, Mockobee bounced back despite the narrow loss. Along with steady rush production, Mockobee is one of the best pass-catching backs in the Big Ten, with 18 catches for 215 yards and a touchdown through eight games.

Malachi Thomas - Reels in touchdown.catch Thomas tallied three carries for 62 yards and caught all three targets for 50 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 loss against Rutgers.

Impact Thomas has served as Devin Mockobee's backup this season, but Saturday's game was his best performance of the season. He recorded his first touchdown and logged a season-high 62 rushing yards in the loss.

Ryan Browne - Kept in check during loss Browne was 11-for-20 passing for 117 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 loss versus Rutgers.

Impact Browne barely completed 50 percent of his passes in the loss, and although Rutger's mistakes kept the game close, Browne and his offensive unit were unable to keep up with the Scarlet Knights. Although it's been a disappointing season for the Boilermakers, Browne's job is pretty secure despite a push from Malachi Singleton, who has a more limited skill set.

Ian Strong - DNP Saturday Strong did not play in Saturday's 27-24 win over Purdue.

Impact Strong did not see the field despite going through warmups ahead of kickoff. It seems he was close to being able to play and should have a good shot to return next week versus Illinois.
