Impact Most of Laughery's production came on a 17-yard scamper in the first quarter. The redshirt freshman running back had previously missed three consecutive games for the Fighting Illini after undergoin surgery on a torn meniscus in early November. Laughery will finish the 2023 season with 16 attempts for 81 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
