Kelly Akharaiyi - Catches pass in defeat Akharaiyi caught one of two targets for 18 yards in Saturday's 30-23 loss to Arizona State.

Impact Akharaiyi was previously listed as questionable after missing Mississippi State's season opener against Eastern Kentucky with an undisclosed injury, but the senior managed to make his season debut for the Bulldogs against Arizona State. The former UTEP transfer was an impact player for the Miners in 2023, catching 48 passes for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns, and will hope to make an impact for Mississippi State in 2024. Akharaiyi's next opportunity will come when the Bulldogs host Toledo on Saturday.

Cam Skattebo - Records career-high 262 yards Skattebo compiled 33 carries for 262 yards and hauled in 3 of 5 targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 30-23 win against Mississippi State.

Impact Skattebo was the top rusher in the country during Week 2 by a wide margin. Incredibly, Skattebo failed to find the end zone, but he was still the Sun Devils' primary offensive engine in the victory. His two week total puts him in third place in the FBS with 311 rushing yards.
