Stone Saunders - Six completions during Week 7 Saunders (undisclosed) logged six completions for 61 yards during Saturday's 26-23 win against Fresno State.
Impact In normal circumstances, it would have been difficult to determine if Saunders was available, as fellow quarterback Jayden Denegal excelling would have completely limited the former. However, Denegal got hurt mid-game, and the Aztecs did not opt to go with Jaiden Trudeau; instead, they went with Saunders. It appears he would be the Aztecs' next option at quarterback if Denegal is out for at least a game.
