PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia 76ers forward Jaylen Brown missed Friday night's game against New York with left knee soreness.
Brown told the Sixers he felt knee pain during their win Wednesday night in Indiana. He had 20 points and 10 rebounds against the Pacers.
Brown has averaged 20.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists in his first five games with the Sixers. He was acquired from Boston as part of an offseason deal that included Paul George.
There was no timetable on how long Brown could be out. The Sixers play Saturday night at Charlotte.
