Perry's 22 lead North Texas over Western Kentucky 70-66
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) — Tylor Perry scored 22 points as North Texas beat Western Kentucky 70-66 on Thursday night.
Perry was 7-of-16 shooting, including 3 for 8 from distance, and went 5 for 6 from the line for the Mean Green (12-3). Aaron Scott was 4-of-5 shooting (3 for 3 from distance) to add 11 points. Rubin Jones was 3-of-6 shooting (1 for 3 from distance) to finish with nine points.
The Hilltoppers (8-6) were led by Dayvion McKnight, who recorded 29 points and two steals. Jairus Hamilton added 16 points for Western Kentucky. In addition, Dontaie Allen had eight points.
Perry put up eight points in the first half for North Texas, who led 32-24 at halftime. Perry led North Texas with 14 points in the second half.
