Mahoney's 17 help Yale knock off Pennsylvania 70-63
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — August Mahoney scored 17 points as Yale beat Pennsylvania 70-63 on Saturday night.
Mahoney shot 6 for 13 (2 for 7 from 3-point range) and 3 of 3 from the free throw line for the Bulldogs (13-6, 3-3 Ivy League). EJ Jarvis added 14 points while going 5 of 11 (2 for 3 from distance), and he also had 10 rebounds. Bez Mbeng recorded 14 points and shot 4 for 10 (3 for 4 from 3-point range) and 3 of 4 from the free throw line.
Jordan Dingle led the way for the Quakers (9-11, 2-4) with 27 points and seven rebounds. Nick Spinoso added 11 points and three blocks for Pennsylvania.
