Jacob Theodosiou scores 27, Braeden Speed hits game-winner as Loyola Maryland edges Navy 75-74

BALTIMORE (AP) — Jacob Theodosiou had 27 points and Braeden Speed buried a game-winning jumper with three seconds left as Loyola Maryland beat Navy 75-74 on Saturday.

Theodosiou shot 7 for 16 (6 for 11 from 3-point range) and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line for the Greyhounds (7-8, 2-2 Patriot League). Veljko Ilic scored 18 and grabbed eight rebounds. Speed had nine points.

The Midshipmen (5-12, 2-2) were led by Austin Benigni with 18 points and four assists. Aidan Kehoe added 16 points and 12 rebounds. Jinwoo Kim had 12 points.

Ilic led Loyola Maryland with 13 points to help the Greyhounds outscore Navy by two in the second half.
