Derrick Henry passes Herschel Walker for SEC's single-season rushing record

Alabama running back Derrick Henry broke Herschel Walker's 34-year-old, single-season conference record by surpassing 1,891 rushing yards on the season during the Tide's 29-15 victory over Florida Saturday in the SEC championship game in Atlanta.

Henry finished with 189 rushing yards and has 1,986 yards on the ground this season.

An Alabama player has only won the Heisman once in program history, when running back Mark Ingram captured the award at the end of the 2009 season.

Henry has rushed for 942 yards in Alabama's last five games.
