Top global soccer clubs head to LA for international tournament
As the world prepares for the upcoming World Cup, Los Angeles has yet another soccer spectacle to get ready for.
World-renowned clubs F.C. Barcelona, Manchester United, A.C. Milan and Tottenham Hotspur F.C. will play at the Rose Bowl as part of the International Champions Cup this July.
This is the sixth-straight year LA will play host to the Tournament, which includes 18 of the best clubs from around the globe and holds matches across America, Europe and Singapore.
The matches are part of a new format for the Tournament which will crown only one winner at the end instead of a winner of each continent as it had in years past.
A.C. Milan vs. Manchester United will take place July 25 at 8:00p, followed by F.C. Barcelona vs. Tottenham Hotspur F.C. on July 28 at 8:00p.
Tickets will be available beginning May 1.
The event will be the second part opportunity for soccer fans to see global powerhouses come to the city as LAFC hosts Bundesliga's Borussia Dortmund at the Banc of California Stadium May 22.
