Milan strengthen defence with Gila signing AC Milan have made their second key signing this summer as Mario Gila joins Goncalo Ramos through the door at San Siro.
1 DAY AGO • BEINSPORTS.COM
Alexis Saelemaekers - World Cup campaign ends Saelemaekers recorded no stats in Friday's 2-1 loss against Spain.
Impact Saelemaekers was brought onto the field for the final few minutes of Belgium's loss to Spain on Friday, getting only four minutes of play. This was likely not the World Cup the midfielder was hoping for, as he only started in one of his four appearances for 81 minutes of play. However, he still earned a goal on his four shots, at least having something to go home with.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Mario Gila - Transfers to Milan Gila has inked a contract until 2031 with Milan upon joining from Lazio.
Impact Gila moves to a top team after back-to-back remarkable campaigns at Lazio, during which he contributed to 14 clean sheets in 63 appearances combined. He notched 46 tackles, 25 interceptions and 110 clearances last year. He's expected to unseat either Fikayo Tomori or Mattia Gabbia in the back at his new club.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Adrien Rabiot - Notches three interceptions Rabiot generated one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Thursday's 2-0 win against Morocco.
Impact Rabiot has not left the field for France since entering the knockout stages, with the midfielder only leaving the field for one group stage match thus far. He would earn a shot and a cross, but more of his efforts were in the defense, with one tackle won, three interceptions and four clearances. However, he is yet to earn a goal contribution since their tournament opener against Senegal.
2 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Mike Maignan - Clean sheet against Morocco Maignan had one save and allowed zero goals in Thursday's 2-0 win against Morocco.
Impact Maignan would have a relatively quiet day in net for France, as the goalie was only called into action once, earning a clean sheet. This is a third straight clean sheet for the goalie at the World Cup, with four in six appearances thus far. He will now prepare to face Spain or Belgium in the semifinals, with the path not getting any easier.

USA Star Christian Pulisic Fractured Leg In World Cup Loss To Belgium
Christian Pulisic - Sidelined for several weeks Pulisic suffered a bone bruise and microfracture in his lower leg during the United States' World Cup defeat to Belgium and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks, according...
Impact Pulisic picked up the injury during Monday's knockout-stage loss, with subsequent medical evaluations revealing a bone bruise and a microfracture of the tibia/fibula. While the setback will keep the Milan forward out through the remainder of the summer, the prognosis is more encouraging than initially feared, with a return expected in August rather than a multi-month absence. The 27-year-old should have enough time to recover and potentially rejoin training before the start of the new Serie A campaign.

Christian Pulisic - Dealing with ankle sprain Pulisic tweaked his knee and ankle in his final World Cup game but is expected to make a quick recovery, La Gazzetta dello Sport informed.
Impact Pulisic will take further tests but appears to have avoided serious issues and is expected to recuperate while he's on vacation and to be a full-go as the pre-season preparation ramps up later in the summer.
3 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Ardon Jashari - Unimpressive outing in rare start Jashari had one tackle (zero won) in Tuesday's 0-0 (4-3) penalty shootout win versus Colombia.
Impact Jashari made his first World Cup start but lasted 45 minutes on the field, with a lone chance created as the main highlight of his performance. The playmaker could now return to a backup role, with either Djibril Sow or Johan Manzambi (knee) returning to the initial lineup in his place, depending on the latter's injury status.
4 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Christian Pulisic - Picks up discomfort versus Belgium Pulisic was forced off with a potential muscle issue during Monday's game versus Belgium.
Impact Pulisic lasted 59 minutes on the field before succumbing to a physical problem, possibly ending his participation in the current World Cup. The talented attacker has struggled to stay healthy throughout the international competition, as he previously dealt with a calf injury. Moreover, he hasn't been involved in a goal again after his assist in the opening match against Paraguay. Timothy Weah and Giovanni Reyna could be options to fill in on the left wing if the USMNT advances to the next rounds.
5 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Santiago Gimenez - Suffers ankle injury Gimenez had one off-target shot and completed two passes in 29 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 3-2 loss to England and sprained his right ankle, Sky Italy reported.
Impact Gimenez subbed in and out following an awkward movement of the previously surgically repaired joint and quickly took the tests, which ruled out a fracture and revealed a significant sprain. He missed five months because of problems with the same ankle last season. He'll be assessed by the Milan doctor upon his return to determine his timetable. He closed the World Cup with no goals in four cameos and having logged just two shots (one on target) and two clearances in 82 minutes combined.
5 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Adrien Rabiot - Takes three shots in win Rabiot had three shots (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 victory against Paraguay.
Impact Rabiot was unable to threaten the opposing goal with a few missed attempts from outside the box during the World Cup round of 16 clash. Other than that, the midfielder delivered 51 accurate passes, falling just below his tournament average of 57.8 per game. He has been a constant presence in France's lineup, yet his assist in the opening match remains his only direct contribution over four appearances.
JULY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Mike Maignan - Keeps clean sheet versus Paraguay Maignan had no saves and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 1-0 win against Paraguay.
Impact Maignan did a good job despite not being required to stop any shot during a one-sided game. He left his goal unbeaten for the third time in the last four matches, having conceded only once against Norway over that period. The goalkeeper should be reliable for clean sheet chances if France continue to dominate, but he'll likely face a greater workload in the quarter-finals meeting with Morocco, who scored eight goals across their previous three games.

Rafael Leao - Bags assist Leao assisted once to go with two shots (zero on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Thursday's 2-1 victory versus Croatia.
Impact Leao would come up with a huge moment for Portugal just moments after looking to have scored, but instead rattling the crossbar, as he would find new AC Milan teammate, Gonalco Ramos, in stoppage time for a game-winning goal. This is Leao's first assist of the tournament, although it comes as his second goal contribution, scoring as a substitute against Uzbekistan. That said, he also earned his first start of the tournament against Croatia, only appearing off the bench in the previous three games.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Goncalo Ramos - Nets game-winner Ramos scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Thursday's 2-1 victory over Croatia.
Impact Ramos entered the field in the 27th minute from the bench Thursday, becoming the biggest player of the match when he rose for a header in the 94th minute and scored the game-winning goal. This does give him his first goal of the tournament, coming in only his second appearance. With Cristiano Ronaldo likely to continue starting at forward for Portugal, Ramos will likely remain a bench option, only playing 34 minutes so far this World Cup.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Luka Modric - Five crosses in last WC game Modric generated five crosses (two accurate) and four corners in Thursday's 2-1 defeat to Portugal. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 59th minute.
Impact Modric sent in the second-most crosses for Croatia in his last World Cup game in the career. The midfielder co-led his side in chances created as well, while taking four of their five corner kicks. He finished the competition with one assist, seven chances created and 11 crosses in four starts.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Samuel Chukwueze - Returns to Milan Chukwueze is back at Milan as Fulham didn't exercise their clause to Milan.
Impact Chukwueze had decent success in a rotational role in 2025/2026, putting up three goals and four assists and logging 25 shots (seven on target), 24 chances created and 44 crosses (eight accurate) in 23 appearances (10 starts). He could have a chance to stay at Milan if he performs well during the pre-season.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Francesco Camarda - Returns to Milan Camarda has been bought back by Milan after Lecce activated their clause.
Impact Camarda will remain under Milan control after scoring once and adding 16 shots (three on target), four chances created and one cross (zero accurate) in 21 displays (seven starts) while on loan, missing a chunk of the season due to a shoulder injury. He'll be evaluated by new coach Ruben Amorim during the summer.
JULY 2 • ROTOWIRE
Christian Pulisic - Starts, records one shot Pulisic registered one shot (zero on goal) and one cross (zero accurate) in Wednesday's 2-0 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Impact Pulisic would make his way back into the starting XI Wednesday after some injury problems, as the attacker played 88 minutes. He would record one shot and a cross in the match, still useful for the team, as he opened up much more play in the attack with more focus on him. He will now need to step up into a bigger role with Folarin Bologun suspended for the round of 16, likely needing to lead the attack in a more forward role against Belgium.
JULY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Yunus Musah - Heads back to Milan Musah is returning to Milan after the end of his loan spell at Atalanta.
Impact Musah struggled to garner a regular role in 2025/2026, scoring and assisting once in 26 appearances (six starts), totaling 12 crosses (five accurate), 11 tackles and 12 shots. He'll be evaluated by new Milan coach Ruben Amorim and is believed to have a solid shot at staying put.
JULY 1 • ROTOWIRE
Adrien Rabiot - Active performance in win Rabiot recorded two shots (one on goal) and three chances created in Tuesday's 3-0 win against Sweden.
Impact Rabiot created his most scoring chances in the current World Cup during his third start of the competition, and he stood out for a 91 percent pass accuracy. Still, his contribution wasn't as decisive as that of other midfielders attackers on the team, and he also committed four fouls throughout the match. He remains with one assist from five chances created across 270 minutes of play so far.
