SportSouth, Hawks announce 2014-15 television schedule

ATLANTA -- SportSouth, a FOX Sports regional network, and the Atlanta Hawks announced Tuesday that the network will televise 75 regular-season games during the 2014-15 season.

Hawks games on SportSouth will reach more than 5.1 million households across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee through most programming distributors, including AT&T Uverse, Charter, Comcast, DIRECTV, and DISH Network.

Play-by-play announcer Bob Rathbun is entering his 19th season as the voice of the Hawks and will again be joined by Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins, returning for his seventh season as an analyst on SportSouth. Andre Aldridge returns for a fifth season as sideline reporter.

Hawks LIVE!, SportSouth's 30-minute pregame and postgame show, will air before and after every game. Jerome Jurenovich and Mike "Stinger" Glenn will host Hawks LIVE!, along with contributions from Aldridge.

The Hawks will tip off the regular season in Toronto on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET against DeMar DeRozan and the Raptors. Saturday, Nov. 1st, at 7:30 p.m. ET, marks the team's home opener against the Indiana Pacers, delivering a rematch of the last season's first round playoff series. Other highlights from the SportSouth schedule include two games against the defending NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs, four games against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, and two games against the Los Angeles Lakers.
