Keep, donate or burn: Fans can decide what will happen to infamous Browns jersey
The future of an infamous Cleveland sports landmark is in the hands of the people.
Brokaw, the Cleveland advertising agency located a couple blocks from FirstEnergy Stadium and the group behind the Browns jersey mannequin listing the team's 22 starting quarterbacks since 1999, has created a Facebook poll to decide what should happen to the jersey.
Undrafted rookie Connor Shaw became the 22nd name added to the jersey when he got the starting nod Sunday in the Browns' loss to the Ravens. But Brokaw says it has "heard Browns nation" who is "tired of the jersey," as are they.
Three options fans can choose between are keeping the jersey until the Browns make the playoffs (they haven't since 2002), auctioning it off for charity, or -- the most extreme route -- burn the thing.
This year's Browns were 6-3 and atop the AFC North before going 1-6 in the season's final seven games to finish 7-9, under .500 for the seventh consecutive season.

@lilOUmikey it's been down for two weeks. Stop down and see for yourself. Or just come in for a hug. Sheesh.

Cleveland, which just marked the 50th anniversary of its last pro sports title, could use some good mojo, so maybe it's just time to be rid of the jersey that highlights more than a decade of signal-calling futility.
