Heat trim roster to 15 with release of Khem Birch

The Miami Heat have settled on their 15-player final roster with the release of Khem Birch on Saturday, as reported by the Miami Herald.
The athletic power forward who went undrafted out of UNLV had a good showing in the preseason with his strong defense and rebounding skills. Birch had six rebounds and three blocks along with five personal fouls in Friday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies. He also grabbed 13 rebounds in 32 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs last Saturday.
Ultimately, the Heat decided they could not pass on the shooting skills displayed in camp by undrafted guard Andre Dawkins in addition to the veteran experience of Shannon Brown.
The regular season roster is as follows:
GUARDS
Dwyane Wade, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Shannon Brown, Shabazz Napier, Andre Dawkins
FORWARDS/CENTERS
Chris Bosh, Josh McRoberts, Luol Deng, Udonis Haslem, Shawne Williams, James Ennis, Danny Granger, Chris Andersen, Justin Hamilton
