Cardinals to play preseason home games vs. Raiders, Broncos
The Arizona Cardinals will open their preseason schedule at home against the Oakland Raiders and will also play the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos at home in the final week of the preseason schedule.
The Cardinals have road games at San Diego and Houston sandwiched between the two home games.
Except for a nationally televised game at Houston, specific dates and times have yet to be established.
Their four-game preseason schedule is as follows:
Week 1 (Aug. 11-15): Vs. Oakland, University of Phoenix Stadium
Week 2 (Aug. 18-22): At San Diego, Qualcomm Stadium
Week 3 (Aug. 28, 1 p.m. MST): At Houston, NRG Stadium, FOX
Week 4 (Sept. 1-2): Vs. Denver, University of Phoenix Stadium.
This marks the 11th time in the past 13 years that the Cardinals have played the Broncos in their preseason finale.
The 2016 regular season schedule will be announced later this month. The Cardinals will play home games against the Patriots, Jets, Redskins, Saints and Buccaneers in addition to NFC West rivals Rams, Seahawks and 49ers.
